Last week the TROJANS TOOK HOME🏅GOLD🏅at the beautiful UCSD Open Regatta! The regatta was comprised of 12 colleges with a total of 200 sailors! Winds on Saturday held consistently over 10kts and on Sunday shifting between 4 and 6 kts.

Special shout out to our sophomore skipper, Luke Harris, and freshman crew, Julia Szymanski, for a total score of 8 after all 8 races!

Huge thank you’s go out to UCSD, MBYC, and SDSU for putting together an incredible weekend out on the water.

Much gratitude to the very talented photographers that were there this weekend, without whom this post wouldn’t be possible: Orsi Teodorovic, Milan Kovacevic, & our very own Alex Tang.

Trojans started this season off sailing at the 2024 PCCSC Richard Sweet Match Race Championship!!

Big thank you to @long_beach_yacht_club and their race committee for hosting such a great event!

Our sailors had a fantastic time, getting in 8 races at LBYC on Saturday with light winds under 10 knots. The weekend culminated with USC coming in 4th! Great work sailors! #fighton✌️

The ICSA All-Academic Sailing Team recognizes Juniors and Seniors who have participated as a competitor or alternate in seven regattas (2023-2024) and have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

USC claims Third in the 2024 Spring PCCs, the championship regatta for the top 16 teams of the Pacific Coast conference. The regatta was hosted by @ucsbsailing at the beautiful SBYC. The Trojans clinched 2nd place at the 2024 @portofla Harbor Cup, hosted by @layachtclub and @calmaritimesailing. It was an exhilarating 3 days of racing, and we're already pumped for next year's challenge! Huge shoutout to Morgana, the sole female skipper in the fleet, for her outstanding performance! The USC Sailing Team kickstarted 2024 by hosting the 2024 Rose Bowl Regatta! After two days of hard racing in breezy conditions, the team finished in 9th place. Congratulations to @bcsailing and @cdmsailing on winning the 2024 Rose Bowl College and High School Divisions respectively!
